Warehouse line marking
Floor line marking for aisles, pedestrian walkways, racking, loading bays and safety zones.
Line marking separates people from forklifts and shows where stock, racking and loading areas start and stop. The Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 require traffic routes to be suitable and, where needed, marked.
Options include painted lines, longer-lasting resin or MMA lines, and tape. Busy forklift routes generally need a more durable system.
Most contractors can work out of hours or in phases so a live warehouse keeps running.
Frequently asked questions
How long does line marking last?
It depends on the material and the traffic. Ask each contractor what life to expect for your forklift traffic and what warranty they give.
Can you mark lines on a new resin floor?
Yes. Lines are often applied as part of a resin flooring job, so ask for them in the same quote.
