Warehouse flooring

Floor repairs, coatings, resin systems and joint repairs for warehouses and distribution centres.

Warehouse floors take heavy, repeated wheel loads from forklifts and racking. Common jobs are joint repairs, crack and spall repairs, dust-proofing, coatings, and line marking.

High-bay warehouses with very narrow aisles need tightly controlled floor flatness, usually specified to the Concrete Society's TR34 guidance. Ask for a contractor with experience of this.

If you are taking on a new unit, a survey before you move in lets you fix the floor before the racking goes up.

Frequently asked questions

Should we fix the floor before installing racking?

Usually yes. Repairs and coatings are much easier and cheaper on an empty floor.

What is TR34?

Concrete Society Technical Report 34 is the UK guidance for designing and specifying industrial ground-floor slabs, including flatness classes for racked areas.
